Hedgehog is an award-winning shoe dryer from Hemsedal. What makes Hedgehog unique is its rapid drying time and adjustable heat and speed settings. It is also modular, capable of quickly drying up to eight pairs of shoes, mittens, or gloves and soon, clothing too. In just 15 months, we have sold approximately 20,000 units and are now stocked in 500 stores across the Nordic region, including Jernia, Elkjøp, Power, and Maxbo. Hedgehog or "Knerten," as the children call it zooms down the Holmenkollen slope at over 100 kilometers per hour. So, who is Hedgehog? Or "Knerten," as the children call it?

Hedgehog was born on October 15, 2021, and hails from Hemsedal. Its "parents" are Bjørn and Erin, and it has four siblings: Eline, Anna, Martin, and Mathias. It all began when the family moved from New York to Hemsedal, a place with snow for nearly nine months of the year. After trying out various dryers that didn't work, they decided to create Hedgehog named after the spikes used to hang up shoes and mittens. It turned out even better than expected, drying most items in just 10–30 minutes. Hedgehog is a hit with both kids and adults especially since the children now hang up their own shoes and mittens.
